HELP! lights have been turned off

Recommended Posts

Do I have a big problem? Lights to grow room containing plants vegging ( nearly ready to bloom) and mother

plant was switched off on Monday 5.00 p.m. and not turned on til Wednesday 11.00 a.m. that's darkness of 36 hours. Not too worried about the plants vegging but I want to save my mother. Will putting them back into 18/6 be alright or is it too late?

any help appreciated.

regards

really depends on what you had them on before but it's not too late no , if you where on 24 hours before , give em a 22/2 cycle for a week or so , then back it off to what you want , if you where on 18 hours give em a 20 hour cycle or so , this is to be sure that the ones you want in veg stay in veg , they probably would if you returned them to their normal light period aswell : peace

Thanks pure

I will be switching the vegging plants to bloom in next few days, but I really want to save my mother at all costs. She was on 18 hours light and 6 hours dark before this happened. Are you saying that I should have the mother on 20 hours light and 4 hours dark for the next week and then go back to 18 light and 6 dark after that?

Thank you for your help

a 36 hour dark period, while in veg wont hurt them too much at all.. a totally different story if they were in flower...

I am guessing over this 36 hour period they have stratched quite a bit....

with the plants you are about to flower... providing they havent stretched too much should be fine to flower.... however if they have stretched too much.. then a pruning might be the way to go.. then as pure said back onto the 18/6(or whatever) light cycle... they will be fine to flower in about 5-7 days...not really losing much time at all...

with the mother plant... definately prune it back.. and then back onto the normal light cycle. All plants should survive....I couldnt see why they wouldnt...
