70w Verticle HPS security light. (heat, spectrum)

I saw a 70W Verticle HPS security light at at the hardware store today.

 

Thinking of buying it until Uncle Sam pays be back the money her borrowed last year and I can invest in true lighting.

 

I was planning on building a small grow box (apx 14"x14"), with air extange once a minute.

 

What spectrum should I check for and how far should I have in from my plant?

 

Any tempature advice would be helpful.
