heres a bit of an update

 

im not real happy with the progress

you will see in the photos im suffering from som early stretch

maybe the light was too far at 1 stage

theyre only young

is this a strain cxharacteristic???

or something i have done??

 

 

it looks funny cause the first 3 nodes are close as then the stretch begins

and another shot of the 1 i turned in last post...

when mj leaves the seedling stage and enters vege growth, stretching is to be expected, but i think your stretching is also due to not enough light

 

could also be strain specific, but i think its simply due to not enough light and the plants entering their vege stage of growth

at the moment they got a 400m/h conversion bulb

30 cm from there top leaves...

hmmm well the light certainly is strong enough and close enough, imo the stretching would be due to the plants entering the vege stage of growth + it could also be due to the genetics

Hi someone, most stretching id due to the reasons already covered.

 

Moving your light down will certainly help with that issue.

today on closer inspection i have discovered rusty lesves and what i think is FUNGAS GNATS.......... little fuckers...

 

as they are only still in the cups in amix of 50/50 perlite/coco

i plan to transplant them to bigger pots and change the mix to 70/30 perlite/vermiculite...

 

BUT prior to this i need to flush the cups

and treat those dreaded gnats..(im hoping the new mix will deter any future gnats?)

what is the best treatment for this?

1 that will do minimal damage??

i am using the NEEMCORE brand and it is allready treated with 6% neem cake....

 

all suggestions are greatly appreciated

hey bro i use gaurdian to treat gnats, it works well. flowering plant looks nice.

got some zone same stuff diff name

also trying the HYGROZYME a horticultural enzymatic formula

similar to NITROZYM

will see if that contributes to a healthier plant(cause they ill at the minute)

 

just give em a good flush ph down to 5.9 and 3rd light on truncheon..

hope this will perk them up a bit

im gunna t/p tomorrow and ill remove the lower close growth and then plant to the 1st node.

hopefully that will help the height issue at moment..
