Bubbles .. .. .. . P.S Planet Skunk have let me down I paid for an order on the 10th as they would not accept a NZ creditcard and after 2 weeks the Western Union money transfer had not been collected so I sent them a reminder they picked it up and then a week later sent me an email saying they had lost my order and were asking for my shipping address. So I guess that means I will not be getting free beans as they have run out now and my flash cabinet will sit empty until they arrive

 

It sounds like PS is full of real forgetful stoners. Bubbles I hope your seed arrives since your great little setup is awaiting some seeds.

 

As for the free beans just 'hint' at what a 'stuff up' the order was on there part .. .. .. .. they don't like negatiove 'truths' circulating. I'm sure they (any right minded super forgetful stoner) will try to make things sweet for tem and you at the same time. There is usually some beans sitting around - perhaps a new release

 

So best of luck on the (some) beans soon for you.

Hey Guys and Gals, My beans arrived but PS did fuck up and send me Magic Bud instead of Rox so after a little discussion with sir skunk I have a new batch of Rox on its way and I get to keep the Magic Bud

I have put 8 Double gum seeds in between some paper towels and will probably refrigerate the rest, They did send me some free beans Nirvanas NLxBig Bud so will try that at a later date.

after 24hourd the seeds have cracked and sent out a little tap root I have to go away for the weekend so was wondering if I should leave them in the towels or stick them in rock wool cubes????? Each system will have a humidity cover so drying out is not a problem.

I have got some more pics of the Solenoid valve and the float switch i bought theese from RS Components I believe they have a store in Aus I found them the cheapest about $35 kiwi for each part, although I do need 6 parts you could only use 1 valve and 1 switch to control your levels in a bigger system with linked Resiovars.

I reckon its best to cube them when they first split even before the tap root comes out.

Just going over the thread and thought seeing as you are looking for more headroom , what you could do is make your tank out of Formply , the ply used for concrete shoring .

 

You would make a tank from wall to wall and seal it with clear silastic after you have added all your plumbing and fittings , because the tank is wall to wall it will hold much more volume so you can make it much lower , maybe even halfing your current tank height , on top of the tank you make a lid same material and cut your pot holes , the lid can be one piece or in strips say to pull say 2 pots out if your want or have different size pots whatever your fancy , lids for different purpose's can come in real handy at times .

 

I have many times made my own tank to suit the job its far better , its amazing how much space is not utilized and can be converted into grow space instead of empty space by having the tank as low and as wide as you can make it .

 

Just something my you might think about for the next build

Hey Guys, Sorry about the delay between post's i've had a few problems with the first batch of seeds in rock wool, I over watered them and they never sprouted I have them sorted now and have a few little sprouts

I have started a grow thread and will continue the thread there it's titled SWC in action check it out!!

Roadblock that Formply sounds the business I am looking at expanding my operation to a shed and will look in to that stuff for my aeroponic chambers so thanks for the info have a on me!!

My last pic is of my header tanks the room was in stealth mode when I took the last photo so now you can see how it all works!

I have been trialing the cabinet over the last couple of weeks and am proud to anounce room temps max 28c min 20c humidity 30% to 55% so its all ready for the beans!!
