HI someone,

i take mine back to where i bought them from, When they are new i mark with date and a mark for every month used after 7 to 9 months are returned and replaced.

Always hold onto a spare for each ballast never know what might happen if a globe does break without the spare it can take days to replace, If globe went outon sat night plants would go 2 or 3 days with no light not really worth that risk mark as used.

Ive thrown two new globes in the bin after getting mixed up with old took me 2 months and a very low yield to work out what id done so all globes new/old are discreetly taged now.

Think about this one before you take the advice....

A cop could turn up at your door or go through your bin looking for evidence of hydro grows..it doesnt matter whether its legal or not..they do it

Bag the bulbs and pay to dump them at your local tip or another discrete way..your own rubbish bin is NOT the way to do it
