sick clones

Recommended Posts

hey ozstoners,

i got a few clones from SPC about a week ago and after they got a bit of a root system happening i put them in my system on half nutes and they have started to go a bit yellow and wilt a little

what have i done wrong my system waters 15 minutes every hour, the temp in my set up would rarely go over 30degrees, the nutes im using are canna and i have a 400w light on 18 hours a day

i thought that when the leafs go pale to yellow it meens they dont have enough nutes... a couple of the leafs have gone cruchy and i have also spotted a couple of new bits of growth but very little

what can i do??

thanks for any help!

thanks for all the quick replys!

i havent really lost leafs maybe 1 or 2 but i cut them off because they went a little cruchy

how do u give them a shot of vitamin B1? i have 4 headstones in a top feeding set up with a resavoir that i put about 30 liters of water in

my ph levels were'nt that good (at 7.0) but that should'nt worry it to much should it

and they seem to be wilting even more as well so i hope i can save these babys there not looking to healthy :P

Yes, you need to get your ph down asap, I run mine at 6.3.

useful little chart brainstorm. Is the ph roughly the same for soil grows?

btw dj, the symptoms you describe are exactly the same as what happened to me when I transplanted my plants. I removed all the crunchy and really yellow leaves. Not sure whether this was the right thing to do or not but out of 6 plants I didn't lose one and they're all doing better now.

Hey Tom,

I am soil grower here,

I will be having a go with hydro set up soon....

just out of curiosity, how do you adjust, both increase and decrease the ph levels in your way?

Thanks again,
