Interesting idea I'm gona give it a go.I've been using metho with a bit of rice to clean my glass bong for a while now,it works great.The metho leaves no residue I've been told. :rolleyes:

There's a lot of rice on the market that has rice dust in it, if you get a lung full of that you'll be in trouble. Make sure you give it a good going over in a strainer to get any dust off it before you go sucking air through it.

 

BTW, when i say trouble, i mean dead. The dust could coat your lungs and they wont be able to take in oxygen. Be careful.

I havent tried this yet (might give it a burl tonight) but one other advantage seems to be that it'd remove that dead-giveaway bubbling noise the water makes. Wonder what other things might work as well as or better than rice ... how about coco pops??? :thumbsup:

 

Do you need to use a mesh filter to prevent yourself from inhaling rice or is that not a problem?
