Hi all. If I have a 3'x3' flood & drain how many plants can I put in to grow out. It will hold 24 lowryder plants so can I put that many of some other breed in it allso.

Say I wanted to try White Rhino about how many would be ok..

They would be clones, and I would veg. for 2 weeks..

A flood and drain table 3'x3'are you sure thats the right size? They usually are around 1200x1200mm

any way, I wouldnt veg for 2 weeks, about 3-5 days is plenty. Stick clones about 100mm apart and as many as you can fit. veg time should be NO more than a week...if its the same as all the tables Ive seen then there isnt realy a lot space for roots, the best way is to flower the clones as fast as possible.. the only hard thing is keeping the clones up to a set up like this.

your yield from that table should be close to if not over a pound

i started out on a 3'x3' F&D table i didnt like the idea of flooding the big tray so i turned mine into a drip system works a treat do u plan on filling the whole tray with growing medium? u might have stability problems as those trays are around 90mm deep 50mm of that floods i would say ditch the SOG and grow 8 plants in nice size pots Edited March 30, 2006 by Gazza2001au

i started out on a 3'x3' F&D table i didnt like the idea of flooding the big tray so i turned mine into a drip system works a treat do u plan on filling the whole tray with growing medium? u might have stability problems as those trays are around 90mm deep 50mm of that floods i would say ditch the SOG and grow 8 plants in nice size pots

 

I think I will go with White Rhino clones in the tray and see how they do.

Here is a pic of my tray its 3'x3'x9", It has 24 lowryders in it right now, will have to pull males in 25 days hopefully I wil get about 15 females out of it.

if ur growing from seed u will have a space problem also whats the expanded clay in the bottom for? not a good idea it will float if u dont have a good % above the flood depth

Hey they will be clones on the WR. And the clay balls are when the water goes out it still will be wet till next flood time I did it last time and it worked real good, thanks for the concerns but thats what I need so I dont flop on some of these grows, I appreciate all the advice you guys give me on this board.

i dont understand mate? ur gowing from clones so you should know wether the mother is male or female and that perlite only needs to be flooded once every 3 hours it holds water really good Edited March 31, 2006 by Gazza2001au
