huge root mass

i was goin through the old posts in this forum and there was one about a guy who wanted to grapht 2 root masses (sp?) into 1 plants blah blah blah and someone replied about how u can bury a branch and roots will grow of that (stripping off foilage of course) so that gave me the idea of perhaps growing aplant to about 2 foot and tip/fim to the max so it would have the most possible branches then stripiing of foilage except the top few inches and bury the whole plant (prefferably in the ground) leaving the top few inches of leaves and you would be eventually left with a huge root system. what do you all think of that idea, it would be very intersting to do perahps if some one has a spare plant next season they should give it a crack and it would be good for guerilla

growing as theroots would get huge and you wouldnt have to water them as often as they could tap into their own source. anyway just a stoned idea any coments??????????

i think you'd end up stressing the plant so much it would die, but if you were lucky enough to have it live, it would probably go hermie or be extremely stunted from all the trauma

Ive done a similar thing with plants where you just tie em down and theyll root at the point of contact with the soil , you can keep doin it along the plant , but keep the moisture up at the point of contact , you dont really have to strip the foliage as the branches just start growing up like new plants all along etc .
