After putting the plants and a fat arse or 2 on the scales came up with this -

26.5 Oz per plant times 28 gs = 742.86 gs per plant

742.86 gs time 70 plants = 51999.9 gs all up

 

With the ass umtion that the fruit was to be sold at 25 a g. = 1.3 mill

 

So the ol fella would only have had to see 60 thousand stick buyers to sell his crop. Sure thing.

 

I wonder how they can sell this crap to us in a newspaper??

There has been a few busts in Qld in the last few weeks i heard of one in Gympie another in Bundy and Marybrough and that one up north, i will try and find some info on the other ones i heard about...

Yeah ozmade, I have also been following the recent busts in the papers and on TV here in Queensland.

 

This is the most recent one to date I believe and I finally decided to do a little writeup on it.

 

I tried searching for some online articles but there don't seem to be any (only headline stories).

pigs are strange barstards, one of me growers had 3 plants in pots just starting to bud and they spotted them in his yard.
