guys i need advice i picked up some addatives off ebay from a local hydro shop couldnt beat the deals but i was wondering if its actually any good i got Bud Burst PK 13:14,Super Bloom,Enhance B481

i know how to use the Bud Burst not really sure if it will actually work? but just wondering about the other two the Super Bloom says to use it start-finish during flowering and the Enhance B481 says to use as a foiler spray from seed/clones thru to flowering gez ive never used any addatives before just nutrient and water this is ganna make my head spin working all this shit out

cant say ive heard of any of those products, canna for i in flower room and higen coco flower for veg.

Silica is designed for hydro to add silica that is naturally found in the ground at varied amounts everywhere. Silica can be used outdoor as a foliar spray but i wouldnt add to the ground at full strength unless your sure soil is lacking try half rate. When foliar dilute to half strength and saturate till dripping in veg maby even an anti fungacide to prevent mould at same time .

Dont foliar flowering plants if any thing a pk booster in nutes solution at late flower stage.

hELLO kl, Silica does not prevent mould but can help to minumise and best used throughout whole grow only foliar feeding in veg

 

So you have used this from veg stage and still had mould??

it is supposed to prevent mould.

ive been using Budlink for about 18 months did not buy it to solve mould probs but to add weight,

Budlink improves plant strength and ability to fight against bacteria and insects when avaliable in constant supply.

I was only told recently of the foliar to prevent mould by grow shop guy, budlink is made locally and does testing on veg like cucumbers with apparently good results. Still not really tested on weed,

 

I only really folir spray under flouros in preveg as an alternative to root feeding all the time, it does green up the plants if continued at a pretty high rate.

 

To answer your question about mould Yes i did get two buds with mould last harvest using bidlink foliar in veg and in res daily. The grow before with Budlink only in res i lost 6 oz , Worst 25% 10/15 ozloss when no budlink at all used and in winter and did not remove any of infection. Do think it budlink reduces but not prevents mould humidity in winter is hard for me to deal with so i grow less spaced out more. i use a/C and RH has been under 50% since spring

 

On the bottle

makes plants healthy enough to fight bugs ang bacteria, improves cell integrity, when foliar sprayed it is easily asorbed by leaves and forms a barrier against airborne bacteria and harsh light levels...

 

eaven nute uptake

 

effects are noticable upon harvest it is not unusual tofind an increase in fresh and dry weight

anyone ever had probs foliar spraying with DM penetrator?

 

i have been doing what pure suggested for about a month - only once per week. taking a litre out of the nute tank and adding a litre of plain water. i also got some DM penetrator and added that. the ppm would be about 700. i also added some DM silica add suggested dose and a satchel of fongarid.

 

all the new growth is very very yellow and sick looking???? looks like a micro nute deficiency as it only effects new growth. but running nutes in tank as always and never had this problem. could this be the penetrator???

 

i have foliar fed the same mix in the past and never had a problem. only since i started using penetrator? do u think the penetrator makes the mix too strong for them???

 

think ill give the foliar a miss from now on!!!

Isnt the penetrator use to prep leaves for foliar feeding, grow shop guys told me its a bit of a waste as the foliar feed from DM works well without Penetrator. I have no experience of DM products except the foliartech on bottle it does recomend a spray with penetrator before foliar feeds as it allows the leaves to use food better.

hi thc bottle says add 20ml per ltr of penetrator to each litre of made up foliar spray. its meant to be an advanced 'wetting agent' which enables it to penetrate into the leaf structure.

 

anyone else ever used it?

thought something was going on with this perticular product as it really is being pushed along in stores, with little known about it and no testing in aus.

What seems to work for me.

 

Veg.

 

Canna aqua veg

Liquid silica

Oxy Plus.

 

Flower.

 

Canna aqua Flores

Liquid silica

Oxy plus

Canna PK 13/14 (half strenght, weeks 5 & 6, a bit diff to bottle instruct)

Pure ph'd water last 2 weeks.

 

I do like the superthrive myself, is great for any root shock and seems to keep the roots growing good and healthy. Works good in veg stages but excellent during cloning stages.
