Here's what I apply in a pest-free situation to the media (which is hand-watered clay balls). Growth stage: Canna vega and occasional superthrive. Silica Majic at all stages. Canna flores during flower and Canna PK 13-14 at the instructed time (for one week, two weeks before harvest). I’ve never tried any other fancy stuff and am sceptical of their abilities. I’m starting to wonder whether the superthrive is doing anything significant overall. It might be useful to recover from shock, but otherwise growth and root growth seem great with or without it. I have noticed an improvement with the use of Silica Majic. The plants seem thicker. Strain of pot, light, temperature and carbon dioxide will forever be the main determinants of growth. Beware of the snake oil salesmen!

im just finising a grow now using SUPERBUD. u can get it from an ebay store. (PM me for details).

 

i normally use SUDDEN IMPACT (yield master). its a 2 part. but costs twice as much as SUPERBUD.

 

if ur doing SCROG then using a PGR will give u a better yield (thc im sure you will agree). you get a screen of fat and hard buds. BUT the quality will reduce - more red hairs, less smell. I like the less smell though

 

i havent tried rockjuice - but it looks interesting as it has silica in it already.

 

i have tried DM silica. once it finished im keen to try silica majik and/or budlink to see any difference.

 

trialing a new product at the moment, hasnt been released on the market yet. it is a combination of a MICROBIAL product with an AU 60 root repair equivalent. therefore anti fungal and root promotant. will keep u updated on this one

Ferengi its crazy what shops pay for it , the part A is cheep but not B .

Im a little worried about not using it as ive been groing with it for years now and cant remember when to turn without.

Budlink best ive found mixing can be tricky, rizo type product to come from same company .

 

I would nt recomend to anyone as friends do get good results without but yield is 25% down, but if you get mould you have lost what you were gaining.

 

Pure ive heard of the DM feasco, i never bought/tryed it does anyone know if uturn is the same stuff just seperated.

Ferengi thats rizo for you, is the best root booster nothing compares, i am using a new product and after two days it had turned my short floffy roots into long taps, not so good as root went to the bottom of pot and circled with rizo you get a more even ly filled pot of white not seaweed staind roots

kl, Agreed big yield but am noticing as i make hash today from non PGR bud there does seem to be more odor than BB on pgr. Could just be a strain thing as are different and BB has never really smelt that much when drying, when cut up thats a different story.

what is budlink guys? is it just silica?

budlink is silica at its best and is well priced ive only been using it for past 3 or 4 grows but does add wieght during grow also slows drying a bit but holds weight when well dry. Dose rate is quite high 5ml per literand i go a little stronger in flower with only better results and even give the odd feed during flush period..

yes pgr does reduce smell - but whoever said thats a bad thing!

hELLO kl, Silica does not prevent mould but can help to minumise and best used throughout whole grow only foliar feeding in veg. Hi gen made this claim on bottle but dont know how they recomend use for mould prevention. Since i have use budlink mould has been less of an issue and plants are darker and healthier with stronger/faster branching .

I wouldn't say DON"T ever use it but don't make it your sole nutrient in the spray , a great way to make up a good foliar feed is by filling a spray bottle 1/3 with your res water , and then top up with water ( i use RO water)

 

spray with if ya want to folliar feed and they will love you for it

 

re indoors outdoors , it is meant for hydro , but could be used on outdoor plants
