foliar feeding

Recommended Posts

with your folier feeding, leave the lights on, just raise them a little if your worried about spraying them. having the lights turned of is no benifit at all... you will NEVER burn plants with soda water, as long as the soda water contains NO salts.. just get Carbonated Water... and yes the plants will definately love the bubbles.. theyre Co2 its the whole reason for spraying the shit in the first place...

With soda water you can spray as many times as you like when the lights are on, just let them dry out inbetween. I spray once a day with plain soda and then once a week with a little worm liquid in the soda... works unreal

I am not trying to brag, but spraying soda water is my trick, I was the first to ever do it... about 17 years ago... people still tell me to this day that they will burn the plants when the light is on.. they are idiots who have never tried it.. so take it from me... I do know...

hey someone 60ml per litre of penetrator? the dose on the bottle says 20ml per litre?

one thing im not sure of when using penetrator is whether to adjust the ph before the mix is applied? i tested the ph of the nute/penetrator foliar feed and its b/w 9 and 10!!! penetrator is very alkaline. and in order to reduce the ph to 7, alot of ph down is required. what did u do? did u leave the ph as it was or adjust?

For starters - use "Epson Salts to adjust the PH when using "Dutch Master" Penetrator ( it sounds like you have a typical winter PH problem = too much lime in water - lime is used by the water authorities to clense comtaminates from the water).

I have had fantastic results from using the full "Foliar System" from "Dutch Master" and the dosage is 60 ml per litre (of Penetrator) - after PH Balance of plain water - you can use a diluted amount of your normal nutes mix too though).

Here is a picture of the "Dutch Master" dosage sheet.

whats a good foliar feed mix for veg?

i normally give em a spray once a week with a 1/2 strength nute mix (a bucket from the nute tank!) when lights are off. if there are any pests (spider mites) i throw in some omite at this stage. otherwise thats it

i got myself some DM penetrator to throw in the mix

was wondering is there anything else worth mixing in (maybe nitrozyme?)

also how ofter should you / can you foliar feed ?

thanks all

Dude !

DM's Pentrator with Foliatech (maximises possible light absorbtion) then alternatley use Pentrator with Max-FX (maximises growth and new branching) can be used with a diluted amount of normal nutrients as well.

There is both "Grow" & "Flower" stage versions of each of these.

I also use "Epson Salts" (to correct an over supply of lime by the council in the water supply) - you can aslo add any "Berocca" for plants eg "Superthriive" ( small amounts).

The big advantage of Foliar feeding is that of feeding and maximising growth but also of keeping the humidity where it should be (early in grow stage) and keeping bloody spidermite away.

I have had very good results doing this recently ( first time I have tried it too).

:peace:
