You are grouping Family First, a very selective political group with ties to the pentecostal church, to all christians. I said all christians in my previous post. 2 billion by your initial estimate. There are barely 2.3 million members of the pentecostal church worldwide. Proportion of 2 billion to 2 million is about 1000 to 1.

You're accusing the policies of family first to speak for christianity as a whole? They account for less than .2 of the percentage of christians...if this was science, your data would politely be dismissed as 'skewed' or 'biased', however in modern language, most people would simple say 'its fucked...'

I doubt that. They might oppose it, but while a democracy in this country exists, stem cell research is permitted. It is permitted here in Australia. As far as Family First goes i think you are preaching to the choir but that's not to say we agree with everything you say either. Like i said, nothing is black and white.

 

Stop insulting people and do some research yourself, writing off the bible as a religious text and not worth your time is ignorant. You don't have to believe in it to teach ignorant bible bashers the error of their ways by quoting it at them, a lot of christians are good people and if they are misguided or ignorant maybe you can show them a better way without alienating them. By the way, most christians accept the old testament as well as the new testament, i think you have a bit more reading to do. Don't just accept what those websites tell you, think for yourself.

 

We are a pretty easy going bunch here but don't think anyone is going to put up with you insulting them. Allow us our opinions and views and focus your energy on something constructive.
