depends on the nutrient really, Some nutes I have had like monstabud and ozi tonic etc have these and they never effected any grows.

 

I had a 4 litre Amsterdamn Indoors veg, and it went that way but still vegged the plants ok??

some of the cheaper nutes i have used in the past have had what looks like stringy shit in the nutrients which had me flipped out, but my plants still grew ok the more expensive ones though have never had anything like that, they just look like watered down coke and water :smoke

ive seen that flaky shit in the nutrient aswell its never harmed my plants ive also seen a big chunk of what looks to be salt build up in the nutrient aswell so dont be supprised what you find ::

Monsta bud shook s bottle the other day and it sounded like yoguart common apparently some nutes are fussy with how they are mixed never add additives undiluted to res mix in 10 lt buckets seperatly Budlink does simular and makes a salty residue if added last on top bud link is mixed500ml into 100lt and mixed for 20 min then nutes they mix fine a first then b in 10 lt buckets first allow a good mix then do your ph most nutes will ajust close to 6.2 if only using there products so easy to ajust. with mixing ive found a small pump to be not quite enough for 100 lt a 3000 lt an hour pump is used to mix aimed to push around res not up seem extreem but res stays very clean and only a monthly clean out is needed.

Some of the things added to nutrients as colours or surfacants can be mixed in error, and these can encourage microbial growth. Usually it's not an issue, but if you are unsure it's better to be safe than sorry.
