DRUG TESTING tRIALS TO START IN QLD

I was chatting to one of my relatives who lives in Qld who told me that as of 1/2/05 Qld police will be instituting ramdom breath testing for both Alcohol & Drugs including Marijuanah.

 

I did a little google searchon the subjec it and came up blank. So I am wondering 'What's happening'.

 

Has anyone heard on the grape vine about Qld entry into this outragious waste of taxpayers cash ? :smoke

Yes, apparently it's true. They said on the news a few weeks ago that they would pay $20 for motorists to take part in random road-side tests in Brisbane and that if particular results were positive there would be no punishment. Ecstasy, cannabis and methamphetamine were to be tested for with a cheek swab with a Q-tip.

 

Having "no punishment" is part of a temporary trial.

 

I got breath tested just tonight in Logan but it was just for alcohol. :thumbsup

compleat bullshit if you ask me qtipping is becoming a fad around me in the us and its sick i havent gotten swabbed yet but it is only a matter of time the highschool near me kicks a couple of people out a month because of those damned qtip waste of money tme and a infringment no my fucking rights if you ask me
