Eikel's Water-Cloning Technique

Hey dudes, it's great to see different ways and means... everyone can learn something.

We all have proven methods too, and it's good to share them.

 

Usually stick with how I was taught, if I have all the gear.. cloneX, clean blade, clean tree stock tube - full of seedraising mix, use a piece of wire to make a hole in the seedraising mix, then cut, scrape, dip, and drop cutting in the hole. Firm it down and keep warm and moist for 24/0 and in 14 days roots show out the bottom! Transplant, easy. Rarely lose any this way except to culling.

 

Looking forward to trying some seasol and water now. I tried the bubble clone idea last year and had no luck ..

Will cut some eikel water clones tonight for another try.

I can't believe I haven't read this thread before!

I hate this clonex sh*t and trying to keep the rockwool at the correct wetness...

This sounds far better.

I know this is an old thread but why does it work for everyone else and not me? cant get a root at all!

calaman...if you r having probs try this dont cut to big of a cut get a butter container with room temp water

nothing more3-4 cuts per container and sit it on the floor of your grow room for 3 days then take out water

make a diaginal cut above old cut and scrape one side gently need only scape outer layer then dipp in

cloneing powder not the gel reason will b given at end as to y,and then plant in either oais cubes, coc peat

in a plastic cup or jiffys(u can use rockwall cubes but i dont like em but each to there own)now u want to water your medium with miricle grow and spray them with a.p.s every second day ,remember u want your medium moist but not soaked ,since going away from clone gels and rockwool get 100% every time even with difficult cloning strains

Calaman tip for you nxt time you want to buy seeds

buy from a reputable seed bank i have been buying

seeds from os since 95 and havnt not got my order,

most times in under 14 days a notice to all who

r thinking of buying seeds from ova seas buy from

a trusted seed bank do some reasearch and ask

people that have been doing for awhile and can

reconmend somwhere, see out of the 50+ seed

banks out there ,there is only 4-5 that i would

and do purchase from.

Thanks WhiteSkunk. I'm having such dramas with me clones. I made a bubbler but they wont root in that. So i tried this method - which isnt workin. I'll give yours ago and piss the gel off as Im only getting about 1 in 3 rooting from that. I dont like rockwool either - i think its a ripoff, I just use coco. Maybe powder will work better...

Funny you should say that cause i just emailed picknmix as none of the seeds germinated! Oh and my last order from PS didnt show up either....
