Cannabis until I die grower on bond

ALBURY man Christopher Robert Jodko has been a cannabis user for more than 30 years, Albury Court was told yesterday.

 

He recently commented to a Community Offender Services employee preparing a report on him that he would smoke the drug “until the day I die”.

 

But Jodko was put on a two-year bond for cultivating cannabis with conditions imposed by magistrate Tony Murray requiring him to attend counselling as directed and submit to urine analysis.

 

Solicitor Tim Hemsley said Jodko did not want to be involved in the drug culture so he was growing three cannabis plants for his own use.

 

Jodko, 47, of Alma St, Albury, had previously pleaded guilty to a charge of cultivating a prohibited plant.

 

Police went to his residence about 7.20pm on November 10 and Jodko admitted having cannabis plants.

 

Police found three small plants growing under lights in large pots.

is this seriously the type of venture that the aussie government pisses our money away on , Mabey they should be dealing with some REAL problems , instead of just getting the little guys to keep the stats up

 

If they busted the bigger growers it would achive allot more of what they need eventually but breaking down the door of some home grower who is clearly not profiting from his plants is goign to get them no-where really fast , except for makign a impact on the man himself no-one else would be effected buy this and no-one would be short of weed to smoke

 

The funny thing is that there is probably some guy down the road from this bloke with a meth lab still running and pulling in the doe and the cops don't have a damn clue

Just to add to the comment you made on meth pure, I swear to god the cops and the government of this country are in for one big fucking shock. Meth is out there, everywhere, and we're going in the same direction as the US. One day, people are going to be wondering why the fuck the were so worried about pot :thumbdown When there's so much worse out there.......mark my words people, this country is in for an epidemic worse than heroin. Meth is creeping up like the black plague, and it's all going to blow up in the near future.

I basically have no friends now because of the shit, too many friends and family have gotten into it. And I chose NO.

Green is the way to go, eventually the cops will be that busy jumping on ppl for meth that MJ will be a thing of the past :thumbsup

I agree with you Chev, it seems to be a spreading plague that becomes more popular as time goes by. I'm not sure it will ever be used as often and widely as pot but I guess it doesn't have to to become a massive problem.
