hey

ok

520w, 1 x 400wHPS, 1 x 130w CF. in cupboard. growing in soil.

i was looking through the site's great prob & disease thing, and i figured it was either a calcium deficiency ? or the soil was too acidic, and i chucked some garden lime stuff one which contains a heap of calcium and said it lowers level of acidity in soil ?

i am also going to purchase some epsom salt which will cure the other problem which is could be.. cant remember right now what disease.

oh.

also, 400w was 80cm away from the yellowest plant. i put it to around 30cm away from plants, and new growth is coming. slowly..

plants arent burnt or anything, just pale green/going yellow. but still very much alive. They have gone alot more yellow since transplant, and im guessing the soil was TOO acidic for them.. sheesh im stupid..

i reckon its the soil with a pH inbalance....i know every time i have used soil indoors my plants have never liked it :thumbdown outdoors, totally different matter, just with me, soil and indoor growing dont mix :thumbdown

when i was in your situation, i got my hands on some clones and started a new grow in coco, worked like a charm :smoke

p.s - this is my outdoor grow for this season, if i just add some limestone, which says it lowest ph in acidic soils. will it lower the ph and allow plants to thrive like they should be!?

let me know asap,

if it is soil problem they are still small enough to transplant into some good potting mix like dynamic lifter(whatever Eikel uses), feed them with some foliar feeder spary until the roots settle in

good luck

:rolleyes:

yeah he uses the dynamic lifter soil thanks to dsyfer putting him on to it and he hasnt looked back since from the way he raves on about how good it is, from the results i have seen, i cant help but agree :devilred: if you can get your hands on some, transplant the plants into that and keep them growing for another couple of weeks so you can take cuttings lol

once the cuttings are rooted, screw the soil off and go hydro all the way lol
