More cannabis plants seized in south-west

Police have seized more than 130 cannabis plants from a secret crop in bushland near the Scott River in south-west Western Australia.

The plants were discovered yesterday morning and Augusta police say they range from 30 centimetres to 1.5 metres tall.

The plants will be destroyed and inquiries are continuing into who is responsible for the crop.

It is the third cannabis crop seizure in the south-west in the past three weeks, with Collie police last week discovering 83 cannabis plants in bushland near Wellington Dam.

More than 2,000 cannabis plants were also discovered at Preston Beach, Yalgorup National Park and Tim's Thicket earlier this month.

Please tell me that the police have better things to do than go bushwalking looking for plants?
