Police find south-west cannabis crop

Police in Collie have seized 83 cannabis plants after discovering a secret crop in bushland near the Wellington Dam.

Police say the crop had a potential street value of more than $80,000, with the plants ranging from 20 centimetres to 1.5 metres high.

The plants will be destroyed and inquiries are continuing into who planted the crop.

Police are also investigating whether there are other cannabis crops in the area.

The seizure follows last week's discovery of more than 2,000 cannabis plants at Preston Beach, Yalgorup National Park and Tim's Thicket.

ANother tale of woe ... who thinks the 'guilty' parties chose that town for its name? really sorry to hear it got found but fuckin amusedas hell at the choice of Town ... no mention of the fact it was Det. Sup Robert Marley that made the bust

I really hope that they only found a small part .. one patch of the witty growers efforts and may they have many many more plots .... all around Collie :devilred:
