hey stoners is there any sort of products out there that i can give my plants to prevent them from getting mold.any info would be good.

As far as i know there isent anything u can give your plants to stop mold, mold comes about more from enviroment factors, to much moisture in the air not enough air exchange, there is a number of things that can cause mold but if u keep am eye out for it u can stop it before it gets a foot hold...

i was reading a post on planetskunk and they said something about neem oil does that stuff prevent mold and where can ya buy it from.here are some pics of me plants

Hydrogen peroxide kills mould and fungal spores on contact, you could try misting with a weak solution every week or so as a preventative measure.

 

Try it at 50:1 on a few leaves first just to be sure it doesn't do any damage.

make sure that the buds are spaced out and that you harvest after atleast 3 days of full sunny weather with no rain and if possible low humidity

Silica used throughout the grow prevents any mould, and like hanky said a weak spray of h202 also works well if you actually get mould.

Peroxide will kill the spores before they germinate to become mould or fungus, it won't kill moulds or fungus after they have germinated. So peroxide is a preventive measure not a cure. Just wanted to clarify that.

Keep your grow room clean and the humidity low during the later stages of flowering and you shouldn't have a problem.

Hmm, should have noticed that seeing as it's in the outdoors forum. :: The only place I had trouble with mould outdoors was in Tassie, make sure the plants are in a place that gets a nice breeze when the wind is blowing and harvest before the wet weather sets in if you can, if you use a greenhouse open it right up or remove it for the latter stages of flowering, avoid getting the heads wet when watering too.
