remember laughing weed?

I remember about fifteen years ago I got a hold of some decent mexican that had the tendency to make you laugh and smile until the sides of your mouth hurt. Any Idea as to the origin of this strand? Obviously it was out of Mexico but I wonder about from what region a strand like that would come from?

having said that,

 

Mexican marijuana commonly carries the name of the state or region in which it was grown

michoacan, oaxaca, guerrero are just some of the more commonly recognised names

Typically these strains are characterised by sativia- like traits of tall statue, long spear-like heads with a high calyx - to -leaf ratio which give a very strong cerebral high (laughing weed) ::

15 years ago, Mexico was probably the biggest supplier of marijuana to the US and new strains from columbia and thialand were imported and now grow happily along side the mexican strains and inter-breed freely

So the strain your looking for is probably long gone :mellow:

 

But Xpat seeds does sell Mexican Sativa seeds, so without going to mexico that's about as close as you'll get today

Our mexican Sativa is really Oahakan dominant.... Hmm.. Yummy. It's one of the my fav strains to grow.. I get all wet at the mouth thinking about it.... and it's got that classic Sativa high high high....
