Re-Veging

Ive had to reveg my plant because I couldnt clone off it before I turned it.

( there are reasons ).

 

The sun has been shining 24/0 for the last week and a half.

Im getting new growth coming from the tips of the buds I left on the plant. At the moment the new growth is abount 4 cm long, most with 1 node some with 2 nodes allready. There are probably about 40 points of new growth.

 

Too early to take them as clones?

I was thinking of taking at least 5 cuttings tomorrow, I figure that if they dont work out, there are plenty of others I can take later.

 

I was going to try and "water" clone them.

Your thoughts please.

I'd wait until that new growth is a little longer, Maybe around 10cm to get good viable clones.

im with hanky, just wait a week or so and you'll have heaps better branches to take cuttings from

Am i right in thinking that you have harvested these plants already?

I've had heaps of trouble in the past rooting clones from already fully mature plants...

What have your experiences been like?

Hi gang! I have no trouble growing cuttings (they are not really clones, are they?) from re-vegged plants. :thumbsup

 

In fact, I took a harvested plant outside and it went so nuts I had to trim it back for privacy sake! I just stuck some of the cuttings in the ground (no hormone powder) and they still took! But this is sunny QLD!!

yes harvested 2 weeks ago, its a scrog, after removing the buds I left all the small stuff on the branches and turned lights back to 24/0.

 

bugger it, , Ill take 4 cuttings now, and see how they go,, there are plenty to grow a bit longer on the bush.

Here's a pic of a plant I grew indoors and am now reveging outside. It has really taken off, so I have had to tilt it and tie it down.
