Hermies!

Hi Team! All I ever seem to grow are hermies. To date, I have been harvesting pretty early, probably too early judging but what I read here about when to harvest a female plant!

 

My question is: Do the same rules apply for harvesting a hermie? I harvest early to avoid seeds, but is this the best strategy? Should I let it go longer and let the buds get bigger?

 

I only have hermies so there is no chance of spoiling a real female!

ditch the crop and buy some seeds dude, genetic hermies should be culled to prevent their shit genes getting passed on

 

go have a look at Xpat Seeds he has many strains that are $50 or less and you wont be disapointed

 

but if you truely are determined to grow hermies, harvest them early to prevent the seeds from growing

What about seeds from bags....guess they are probably hermies too!!

Can't you get the seeds sent to someone else's address...surely there must be someone?

bagseed runs a risk of throwing hermies but also may give some normal ones

good guess, they are usually there due to the plants going slightly hermie and seeds grow as a result

if you buy a really good strain and find a good mother that other people on these and other pot smoker forums would love to get their hands on, they'll hit you up to trade cuttings or seeds and you can increase your strain base that way, thats how i got my strains

 

a few strains that people would kill to grow are jack herer, northern lights #5 x haze, northern lights, super skunk, afghani #1, anything thats fruity like mango strains, bullblegum tasting strains too, etc. etc. etc....just browse over a few seedbanks, see what you can afford and what is most appealing to you and others, that way if you dont like the strain you can trade it away for something else

its safe to buy from Xpat too, so dont worry about getting caught.

I would more worried about being busted for having hermis.

 

As for when to harvest, either when 70% of the hairs are brown or red or whatever.

but the best way is to look through lense at the trichomes and harvest when they are 20% amberish, as long as they are all cloudy anyways.

Yeah Ferengi....I feel pretty bad about the hermies....honest.....

 

So it seems like the same rules for harvest apply to hermies as females! That's cool, I will wait a bit longer this harvest time!

no kidding about bag seed having a high chance of being hermies, I'm about to start my first grow and I was gonna use bag seed. I'm definitely gonna hit up xpat seeds sooner rather than later.
