How small can a clone be

i dont know if you can clone off a seedling, but IMO i would leave it to mature for a wile and then find out if it is male or female then clone her up...

what are you trying to do? take a clone and flower it to sex your seedling?

you can have babie itsy bitsy teeny weenie clones if you like.

just make sure your clone has a couple of nodes.

why does a clone need nodes?

they need nodes to grow from, no point in just cloning a leaf or a bud, its not gonna get any bigger

 

none the less, i have taken cuttings from my seedlings and have had really good results, i actually intend on doing that in a few weeks to my current batch of seedlings because i started them in soil and intend on growing hydroponically

When my mother plant died once I just had clones and they were about 14cm in height and I was able to get more mini clones from the 14cm plants. Just dont go berserk and strip the smaller plants to the point where you will kill it :smoke .

What Jifto said........however, a clone can be produced from any small part of the plant using special growing media in controlled laboritory conditions but thats pretty heavy stuff unless your into plant micro biology
