High all ,

Probably doesn't come as much of a suprise that the majority of people here would be aged between 18 and 35 ... as they are the majority of Internet users

 

But I know for a fact there are more than 6 people at this site in their 50's C'mon guyz , Stand up and represent

 

I was reading just yesterday something about , only now , long term Cannabis users are reaching the age where health issues such as Lung Cancer from SMoking Canna can be asessed I didn't like the attitude of what was being said ... but I suppose it's a fair point .. I've had many stoner mates in their 50's (some of those would be in their sixties now if still alive ) ... I must admit that most had health issues , but wouldn't say it was because of long term Cannabis use What do you think?

 

No doubt this thread having been bumped now there will be many votes by the enthusiastic youth that's great ...

But calling everyone over 40 !!! Please Vote!

The percentages don't matter , but there needs to show that there are plenty of Mature adults that use Cannabis regularly also ... To fairly reflect the truth I think.

OK Budman thats something to think about .... but i beleive the figures speak for themselves ... once the majority of smokers get out of their 30s they give away smoking ... this is half the reason the laws have not been changed cause there are no active users who are lawmakers ...

Pity you did not have the time to elaborate there Frazz ... but I have been meaning to reply to that for a while So Cheerz and forgivness for such a late response.

 

I tend to agree that your right there ... but I think that "Once they get out of their 30's" means to say that in the 40's they may give away smoking Canna (and tobacco maybe?) ... ? :=

I think for most It's alot earlier than this that most punters would slow if not entirely give up their Cannabis usage ... maybe even people in their 20's would be more likely to be the major group who would "Give Up" at that age?

 

I'd say more likely the ones still partaking in their 30's and 40's years would be the ones who will Always be consuming Cannabis in whatever form and for whatever reason until the day they rest.

Ofc there are always many exceptions to the commonly held scenario in any matter

 

Medicinal use has such a huge percentage as a factor of long term regular Cannabis use I've seen .. and for what I've personally noticed ... the majority of Older Cannabis users/enthusiasts in their 40's 50's and 60's among us (altho most not OS forum members unfortunatly) use so for almost entirely medicinal purposes .. whether that be back pain , Cancer and other severe health issues , insomnia .. or supression of dreams while asleep ... not to mention just simple Stress Relief

I know fewer younger "Stoners' that make use of Cannabis for serious health conflicts comparitevely .. just my observations .

 

Anyhoo , without trying to bother fixing up what I've just typed so far so as to try to make a better and more proper more well informed sense of relating to the topic I've chosen to re-enter into here now without editorial bias nor the vested opinions of the ones who seek to belittle the cause .. if not strive to be cause of our ultimate destruction as a Dedicated , Compassionate , Multidirection , Civil , Informative , Active and "Rock Solid Stone and Rolling" active resistance fighters ... through Lies , corruption and Greed being enforces apon us by Selfish and Power-Hungry dictators that propose to fix up "Our problem" by all manner of unjust persecution) ...

Hmm , had difficulty putting that how I wanted to ..

 

I'd just like to finish by saying ... Some of my best and favourite "stoner" mates have been in their 50's ... they are medicinal users ofc .. but that does not deny the social and recreation side to their usage also , that most when provoked to think apon the subject carefully , would be hard pressed to argue any different in my limited but diverse opinion =D so far ...

 

 

Bugger ... I'm sure I could have put that more betterly and proven an aptitude further beyond what I have so far put forth .. but hey , as is often said ... not none of us prefect

 

I will never submit to the Corporate thugs , And I will never stop consuming Cannabis related medice both for the therapeutic advantages and also the creative/spritual AND recreational side of things (Creativity is due Recreation aswell as Medicinal to me personally ... but that's a WHooole 'nuther post is it not )

 

Back to the Poll .. Well It ceratainly is Interesting to see that the NSW'ers are really not the Majority of the State poll so far conducted ... In all seriousness I really find that hard to believe

 

Anyhoo .. I'm sure I left out some crucial sentencing and deliberation there that would have no doubt helped to elaborate on whatever on this Ganja Earth I was saying at the time ...

I'm on "drugz" so I'll leave it there before I get too sedated to go on about further discussion pertaining to this or any other Cannabis based topic for the moment being.

Well there are at least three potential grandparents in here. Yep I am one of them 59 coming up in a couple of weeks. Only stopped smoking herb once since 1968. Was for two years when I gave up baccy. Unfortunately got back on the smokes before the ganja. Should have been the other way around and I might have stayed off baccy.
