How quiet is DWC buckets

im curious if n e 1 has em and r they quiet or noisy. could u have one in a speaker in ur room. or r they 2 loud.

only as loud as the air pump & bubbles it produces ...... i never hear mine but i'm deaf as a post :: .....

How big is the speaker? You might fit a bucket in it but it wouldn't leave much room for a plant. Plus the humidity raised by the bubbler would probably destroy the speaker cabinet in a short time.

ACO air compressors are the best I've come across. They make less noise and pump out a far higher volume of air than your average aquarium air pump, and don't cost any more either.

You can also use a small submersible fish tank water pump with a venturie hose to aerate the water, the only noise you will hear is the suction....it's barely audible but a small peice of foam will make it completely silent.

It also serves to keep the nutrients moving around as well.

hey there,

i gots me one thats some magnetic set up never needs oil and

blows 150 litres per minute

it has a 16 outlet thingy

 

i only run 8

and i reckon the plants are lovinit

my biggest drama was buying all the airstones

at $10-$15 each hurts the pocket
