Need help fast

heya peeps

 

well .. me beanz have sprouted ... shee IT it was quick .. wll not all, but most and the problem i have today is this

 

when i checked them a few minutes ago (see pix) most of the sprouters were burying themselves in the papertowel

 

what di i do ?

 

i have cubes soaking already .... but I'm worried about damaging the tap root

 

any advice?

 

this was why i wanted to not paper towel them and go cubes direct . doh

 

looks like one or two of spurious lowryder x mazar may just pop :scratchin

Just handle them carefully, if you have to plant them in the cubes with a little paper tissue still attached it's no big deal.

musha, i would seriously be quick about things and either put them in their rockwool cubes asap, those roots are searching for a place to dig in and then they'll try and push the seed up so they need to anchor down...

 

about the roots digging into the tissue, its nothing to worry about, if need be, cut around the tissue where the seed is and just place that into the cube...get 2 tissue, wet one and try and poke a finger through both, you'll notice the wet one takes fuck all effort compared to the dry one and the roots will have the same ease getting through a wet one

excellent .. thanks guys .. yeh .. I was planning on spending a few hours doing stuff in the GR (pix later , maybe :: ) .. then I saw the seeds .. then the computer .. then posts from you two :: that i just felt the need to argue with ... hmm. maybe got out of the wrong side of the bed today .. but i think what i said .. hate the press and publicity build up's .. think Jamies done bloody well and admire his business accumen though. :thumbsup

Hi there you could cut those besnz out with sissors and then split the cubes insert paper seed ( one only) then slip rock wool back into its plastic sleave and elastic band. there you go as good as if you just droped the sedd into RW from the get go.
