another way is to have a white light on top of the bud ur looking at with a white wall or peice of paper behind the bud u will see a difference in colour in the trichs it will be impossable to judge by eye this way with a HPS or red fluros

Eikel, ur right with the news paper i have never had any problems with ink only sticky buds getting stuck to the paper
