Marijuana worth $1.6m seized

Recommended Posts

DRUGS valued at $1.6 million have been seized from a property in Sydney's south west.

Police raided the Hume Highway, Yagoona home about 7.45am (AEST) yesterday and found 400 cannabis plants and an elaborate cultivation system, police said.

A 45-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charged with cultivating a prohibited plant in excess of a commercial quantity.

He was refused bail and was due in Burwood Local Court today.

$4,000 per plant, now that's inflation for you, a few days ago it was only $2,000 per plant, you'd think the courts would be questioning the mathematics by now.

its gotta happen one day soon .. someone with a few bucks to throw at a very clever lawyer .... its absurd and at the least pure sensationalisim ... typical .. by the media ... the story wouldn'ta had the balls it did if it read !!! $800,000 worth found!

its probably worth an anonymous letter to the editor pointing out the discrepancies and critisizing the medias willing participation - they're journalists .. they're supposed to get the facts right .. then report them to us ... what the hell went wrong?

what do you call 10 journalists/lawyers at the bottom of a swimming pool?

a bloody good start!
