yeah gotta say I'm guilty ,

 

particularly on the freeway if it's a long drive Nothing like having your mate holding the bong while your punching a cone whilst going 130+ kmph down the coast

 

but I have to say that if anything I think it makes me more cautious and wary of my suroundings , that and the fact that I am a serious roadrage feand without my buds

Muhahahaha, when Tom and I lived down the South-West, I used to have a supply of those 'cones', pre-rolled hemp paper joints. For our drive up to Perth I used to have 2 big fat spliffs packed up, plus bring the tin and spare joints of course Some of those drives were the best I'd ever had!! :: Although Tom would take it easier than me, thus ending up behind the wheel most of the time while I smoked myself stupid.

Bad Memory: Flying into Burnie in Tassie on the red eye, we decided to have a few cones before the drive back to the mountains (a good hour and 10 mins) doing 120k-130k and I swear to god this dirty great big possum came out of nowhere, Tom couldn't avoid it. I swear to god, I've never seen a possum that size, it was as big as a large tomcat (which is what I thought it first was) Both being animal lovers, I made Tom turn around, even though we both thought there was no way it survived. It did, but I don't think it lived very long. It had scuttled off the road, so there's us two stoned idiots with a hammer standing in the fucking freezing cold knowing full well neither of us could do the deed! I felt fucking awful when we left, but I think Tom felt even worse! (sorry to bring that paticular story up Tom, I'm sure he's in possum heaven know and has forgiven you )

I do it every day..have done so for 30 years, and never had an accident.(well only minor one's back in the 70's)

I believe I drive safer..

I don't, I'm happy to just chill out for a few hrs and enjoy it, and wait till I'm straight enough to drive safely.

I do it with a decent buzz once in a while and I always regret it once I start the car, I think I'm too paranoid about injuring someone else if I have an accident.. ::

In all my years of smokin i can only rember 2 times i ever drove wile stoned, as i looked at it if i did hert or kill some one wile i was driveing stoned i wouldent be able to live with me self, rather be safe than sorry...
