Water curing experiment

Recommended Posts

We have details!

Firstly lads, no need to panic, they're were not my best buds. I got the buds off a hermie I was trying to regenerate, just to see if the stories are true! Unfortunately, I let the reservoir run dry and the plant was doomed. :peace:

Anyway, maybe that was fortuitous, coz now I can try water curing.

I have heard the downside of water curing are "loss of bag appeal"...not even sure what that is, but as my attitude to women, I will smoke an ugly bud anytime.

The flavour not as good. Not worried here! I do not smoke tobacco and all I want from a cone is the buzz with the smoothest experience possible - no chlorophyll cough thanks!

Anyway, I got a good handful of small hermie buds off the plant. I had already taken the good ones off at the first harvest and left these on for regeneration. Idid not trim the buds at all but did a little plucking of big leaves.

What I used: 1 large saucepan. A plastic sieve like container I got from a salad spinner! This is to hold the buds down. Because the buds are small, I needed a device like this, not the usual piece of wood for a big cola!

So, today I dropped the buds in, put the inverted plastic container ov the buds and weighed it down with an old glass jar containing water. I then covered the buds with aged water I use for my fish tanks! This has chlorine removed and slightly warmed. Pic to follow.
