Mouldy Rockwool tops

Recommended Posts

My little babies are 2 weeks into their veg cycle and I'm using a rockwool slabs / dripper system.

The 1000x400 slab is still top wrapped in the packaging, with only the 100mm square cut on top where the 4" rooted cube was placed.

My problem is that i have a layer of mould across the top of the 4" cube (this can't be covered because of the drippers)

Is this mould a problem?? The plants are pumped, with no signs of any probs, but it just don't look right?!

Thanks dude, I've ended up with a ring of grow rocks around the base of the plant to cover it up (cosmetics are a major part of a happy room!! lol)

Thanks for the advice, I'll hopefully be getting some pics up of the room soon, I'm growing a northern lights strain thats been perfected over last 12years here in Australia. Our last harvest of 8 plants we reached 4 pound off one plant and between 2-3 pound from each of the others .Pics coming asap!!
