Replacement Ozone Flouro tubes?

I have one of these Ozone generators in my grow room:

I'm in need of a replacement Ozone flouro tube for it. I'm up for about $100 just for a 6w tube if I buy from this place, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a cheaper source of the tubes?

seriously though, there are heaps of lighting specialists all around the country that will more than likely be happy to order one of those tubes in for you if they dont already have one in stock...

 

you also might wanna look online for a few places that are fairly close to you as those globes can break very easily and posting them wouldnt be recommended :thumbdown

 

if all else fails, look into a carbon scrubber, they are alot safer and the filters are semi cheap and easily available :smoke

Unfortunately I cant really use a carbon scrubber effectively with my setup, but the ozone generator works well, its just that its struggling to keep up with my extra stinky flowering skywalker at the moment, its performance has slowly dropped off over the last few weeks so I think its time to replace the globe.

 

The place I purchased the generator from can sell me a replacement globe but I just think that $100 (inc postage and insurance) is a little steep for an 8w flouro globe!? Even it does produce ozone!

 

I'll look around the net a but more, I just thought someone here may have had to buy one before or know where to get one cheaper?

is the one i have and its very good, kills all the smells etc.

Just make sure you can never smell the ozone, and have it away from people, animals and plants.

Yeah 8w is pretty weak, but when the globe was new it did the job fine, I grow in a wardrobe in a spare room which is always closed and locked unless I'm in it. My wardrobe has a fan which just vents into the room. I also have clones and some mother plants going in the same room and the whole room is vented into the ceiling via an extraction fan.

 

I have the ozone set-up in the room so it mixes with the air in the room nutralising smells before being vented into the ceiling. When I enter the room I just switch the ozone off and then turn it back on when I leave. At the moment the roof is starting to leak bud smell pretty badly!
