Dr's certificate for Medical Cannabis Patients

I hope this comes in handy for fellow NSW patients, I carry one in my wallet at all times -

 

Standard form (PDF - file size: 52kb - paper size: A4) for doctors to sign (with wording relevant to NSW patients), identifying a patient as potentially benefiting from cannabis. Generally for the purpose of encouraging police to use their discretion to decline arresting a patient by providing somewhat legitimate cause. Note: not a legal document, a police officer may still decide to arrest & charge. Contains a harm minimisation clause.

i doubt that it would do much good where i live but i printed it out and am changing a couple of things and sending it to my doctor you never know it may be useful thanks a lot man

The wording at the base of the letter is relevant to NSW law, so not much to change really.

Great idea.

I used a similar one ages ago but it was to purchase tincture and cookies from Nimbin Hemp Embassy, all I needed was my Doctors signiture to say he approved its usefulness for me.

Good idea. I doubt my doctor would sign it. When i told him i used mj he wanted to cure me of my addiction. Maybe i need a new doctor.

cool form, but most doctors are sheeple and think cannabis is a gateway drug from hell which fucks your mind up before turning you over to the meth heads or junkies at large

thanks for posting the form but i can't see my goody two shoes GP signing it. however i might get in touch with a friend who's a newly-graduated doctor apparently many of his fully-qualified friends are full on into psychedelics and mj so i could go find myself a new doctor....hrmm....

Thats the kind of doc i need. Theres smokers in all walks of life. Seriously though a mj friendly doctors registry would be great. Guess thats just a fantasy.
