Ice?

Ordered some seeds and received em the other day, have em germinating at the moment, 7 sprouted so far My question is..

 

I ordered Ice, after swapping and changing my mind heaps of times Ice was what I decided to go with. Anyone had any experience with Ice before? Is it a good strain? I haven't seen anything much written about it here, but seen more positive threads about White Rhino etc.

 

I'm starting to worry that I chose a crap strain? Can anyone tell me their experiences with it? Is it worth cloning em or should I order a diff strain for my next grow?

grow them out, take cuttings and keep the strain alive....they might produce some amazingly potent smoko, you never know untill the smoke hits ya lungs

 

personally, i think variety is the spice of life so i would clone your best ICE mother and then order another strain anyways....what strain you order would depend on the kind of high and taste you were after but we can help you out there

You will find that there are two distinct pheno's with ice , one forms little tight buds and is a real stretcher and the other pheno shows it's indica side more , if you want to see a pic of the nicer version it is in our strain guide , when my computer comes and I'm off this lappy I can load up an image of the seccond pheno being shown but it should be pretty obious just buy looking at them once they are into about the 3rd week of flower

i had sum cuttings that were supposed to be ICE and thats what i thought, not that impressed by the yield considering PS quotes 500g/m2. I would say it's a good strain, average yield 60-80g/plant max, the pheno i had was more stretchy/sativa, nice puff.

Went for Ice coz it said nice high but also had a good yield. I'll have to wait and see I guess.

 

Extremely glad that there have been no "pfft, its a shit smoke" replies

 

Would have loved a big yield like it said on the webby where I ordered em but I got plenty of time to find one that gives me all the aspects I want. If anyone has any suggestion of what might be a good one to go for next i'd love to hear em

I have seen pictures of Ice plants with nice large sticky heads on them, I have seen the opposite too, all the growers seem to have enjoyed the end product though.

 

Any chance of a few pictures along the way?

I'd like to know, because it seems everyone has their own versions of "ice", and some are by far better than others.

 

As Tom said, he's seen them grow into exceptional producers, and the oppposite. And so have I, with the crap ones taking up room in my grow space.

For sure, got me a digi cam and i'm a psycho with it, one pic is never enough, gotta have at least 10 of the same object and from every angle possible .

Got them from BuyDutchSeeds. Was impressed with the delivery time and I hadn't heard anything negative about them.

Is there any chance they would do well in a scrog if they are so stretchy, might get a bit more that way?

 

Edit: I just read the strainbase description about it, so that would be a yes to scrog.
