02 via the roots?

can't remember who posted the link to this stuff (sorry but thanks)

I went there and decided to buy some for me ... ended up experimenting with ma babies too -

I have added about 5mls to my 500ml plant mister and I started giving it to my clonez thru the leaves and also added about the same amount to the water they have been standing in, in the trays - started misting the older plants with it also, every couple of days.

 

anyone got any thoughts on whether it would be of any benefit adding some to the nute rez? I'm not sure if the other rez contents will cancel out or prevent the o2 from havig a beneficial effect in the rootzone.

 

I can report that the clonez are all loving the misting and humidity ... not sure if I am wasting my $ sharing the oxyshot with them - any opinions?

Unless your reservior is air-tight the oxyshot will dissapte into the air within approx. 30mins, in addition the amount you would need to add to lift oxygen levels significantly above average levels of 8ppm(tap water) would not be cost efficient IMHO

I will keep it for me and the clonez - they should be able to get a boost thru their leaves almost immediately, wattaya reckon? they're lookin really happy and the heatmat under them isn't working so I'm thinkin maybe the extra O2 is doing them good :scratchin

Heya EV yeh ... mmmm ... lotsa clonez ... I juz wanna keep makin babies

no ... truth is, I have lotz coz I have no idea yet what they are gonna be - was going to put one from each batch into the flowering chamber while continuing to veg the rest but then I figured that wouldn't work with my schedule - I'm going to put nearly everything into flowering tomorrow - I'm planning to cut out any boys that show as they show and just let the rest keep going.

 

I also have a heap of these Forestry tubes ( 90 mm x 150 mm) - 12 of them sit in a holder and that fits into one of my cloning trays ... so I can have like 60 of them inside my vegging chamber (the converted bunkbed) and when they're ready there's even more room in the flowering side of the Bunkbed - I figure they won't grow all that tall in the tubes so I wanna try a mini SOG experiment while the Airponic is ticking away - :reallyexcited:

Also will be selecting a coupla Mama candidates for the future - plan to keep one or two semi-bonsai'd and in the vegging chamber.

Most of all I hope I don't luck out completely and draw all males .... that would be a scream .. literally I have 5 good gene growers going so I'm hoping I will get at least a couple of fem's out of it .. in the meantime I'm gettin lots of cloning practice
