Police raid nets Sydney cannabis haul

Police have discovered more than $1.2 million worth of hydroponically-grown cannabis in a raid in Sydney's west.

 

Police said they found the hydroponic set-up in a house in Aplin Road, Bonnyrigg, yesterday morning.

 

They seized 528 cannabis plants and 20kg of cannabis leaf.

 

A 30-year-old man has been charged with offences including cultivating and supplying a prohibited drug and stealing electricity.

 

He will appear in Fairfield Local Court today.
