ART Garfunkel Drug Rap

ART Garfunkel has been charged with cannabis possession after his car was stopped by police.

 

The drug was found in his limousine's ashtray when an officer smelt it.

 

The 63-year-old singer pleaded guilty to the same offence last year and was fined £110.

 

Garfunkel was stopped after driving through a red light in Woodstock, New York state, said police.

 

He had been stopped for speeding nearby in January 2004 when officers found cannabis in his jacket pocket.

 

Garfunkel had a string of huge hits in the 60s in a duo with Paul Simon.
