Reptile Heat Mats

$10 reptile heat mat

 

i saw that on ebay and thought for $10 it would be worth the money if it worked the same as any other heat mat, the only downside i can see to it so far is that it isnt adjustable but if any of you know better, i wont place a bid

Don't know much about these but it looks more like a stick on plastic transfer type similar to the rear window de-misters. you'd probly have to stick it to a pane of glass and use that as the mat.

With that postage cost it's definately a roll-up type IMO

You could probably put a little hothouse straight on top.....I use a waterbed heater, and it works a treat :thumbsup

yeah im pretty sure its one of those types :thumbdown i just figured if it can hit around 30 degrees i should be able to stick a fluro above it and just rest the cubes directly on the mat or use one of those yates mini greenhouses, either way as long as it did the job....

i read on a succulent forum that some guy used a electric blanket heater under a small amount of gravel to root his plants....im not that game though there was a post about someone using a waterbed heater on there as well but again, im not that game + i dont have a waterbed
