Growbrite Plant Lights

Recommended Posts

Hiya Mushaman

I bought one of these about a week ago so it is a bit early to tell to be honest - have only got 10 day old seedlings under it at this stage.

I bought the 130 w spectrum flouro and got the 2700k bulb - had choice of 2700 6500 and 14000. I choose the 2700 as I am growing Lowryder and friends that autoflower, all going well I will use this as supplemental light with a 400 watt HPS for my next (and more serious grow)

From what I could tell these bulbs put out about 10,000 lumens - not bad for a flouro. I have a two foot grow tube that puts out just short of 1000 so when you compare it is pretty good. Nothing on a HPS though.

Doesn't seem to put out much heat and is great for a stealth grow - but I can't comment on results at this early stage I'm afraid.

I have attached a piccy that sort of shows the bulb in action.

I reckon the 14000 k bulb would be pretty awesome thats very blue... hence a hit with the coral reef aquarium nuts.

Wow nice setup !  I would like to go aeroponics for my next venture...  :thumbsup

Cool - would love to know how your grow goes using these.  Keep me posted.

Happy growing  :smoke

I just discovered another disadvantage of airponics .. I bumped the plug for the nte solution pump and the roots hung in the air drying for about 5 hours yesterday - looks like they're fighting back now but they looked sad when I first noticed something was wrong - airponics is fast tho' they are nearly doubling in size every 48 hours ;)

I'll post some more pix in a day or so.
