As soon as you can see healthy roots comming out the rockwool!

Mate, if its your first hydroponic grow then dont get to worried about the tech stuff to much, you will learn fast. I am growing in coco and only buy quality nutes. I ad the exact amount specified on the bottle and my Ph is always around 6,my white rinho just love it.

As a rule of thumb the heavier your medium is the higher the PH should be. I have no idea why this is the case but it seems to ring true.

For mediumless water cultures like bubblers and aero setups a good range is 5.2 to 5.6.

For stock standard hydro mediums like perlite and clay balls 5.5 - 6.2

For coco its more like 6 to 6.5 and for soil it can be 6 to 7.

Seems true to me too, As for cf/ppm

1000ppm max in clone, early veg,

1400 ppm flowering, with up to 1680ppm with additives,

500 or less flushing.

i found that different strains like different levels, eg- wr can handle high ppm/ec.

also drop the ph when you flower as it makes more of the right ferts available.
