how much are you allowed to have?

Hi. Ive never grown marijuana and im just wondering what the laws are regarding it. Are you allowed to have a certain limit of lights/plants growing in your house? Including that theres no evidence of 'dealing' and you have no criminal record. Thx for any help.

Well it's pretty much a safe bet that it's illegal in most (if not all) places in Australia.

 

Some states have laxer laws then others though but do keep in mind it's an illegal substance and will be treated accordingly (should you ever be caught).

The law states (I believe) that if you only have 1 or 2 plants, and under a certain limit of weed (not on a plant, I think its 2oz) then its only a $200 fine. Anything above that can mean risk of jail and/or criminal record. HOWEVER these laws do state that ANY marijuana grown in hydroponics is illegal, even one plant. They don't define hydroponics though... a plant that is inside, under lights but in dirt, while not technically 'hydroponic' might still get you in trouble. So basically grow 1 or 2 outdoors and you are the safest....
