Auto-Pot System

I think a short bubble stone each side of the smart valve would keep things moving around and oxygenated. Not too close or the bubbles may effect the valve or float.

 

When I looked at them, the way the nute mix just sits there stagnating was the only thing I didn't like.

OK I get what you mean now. You're right it would probably help. But having an airstone or a powerhead in the res. is not essential I've found. Try a grow without an airstone in your res and I'd be surprised if you notice any difference. Whenever you check it just give it a stir with your truncheon ;)

 

I think its one of those things that sounds good in theory so everyone does it, but in practice it doesn't make a lot of difference whether you do it or not.

heres a pic of the strain i grew indoors thats currently outdoors, planted it like at the start of winter just as a experiment as i had a spare clone, tipped it at its 3rd branch and here it is:

this is totally off topic, but its supposed to be a pure sativa hawian.. by the look of it

how much longer do you think it has to go? thx
