Where to get?

Are these worth growing from seed? or does anyone know where to get good catnip from??

I've found them at bunnings before, They are easy to grow and quite plesant to smoke either mixed with pot or by itself.

The RSPCA store(across the highway from IKEA) in Springwood has (6m ago) top quality Catnip, imported from the USA. No stems just high quality kitty bud.

 

I've grown Catnip a few times (my cats love it), the cats eat it before I can harvest it.

Easy to grow!

 

www.edenseeds.com.au also has catnip seeds (my supplier)

Is this on the same side as Ikea?? Like near the Library somewhere??

 

I dont remember seeing the rspca shop???

Other side of the highway, in a Homemaker shopping centre. I think its the same car park as Freedom.

 

I've checked Pet Barn (Nerange), Big W, a few local pet stores, etc none have good quality catnip only RSPCA store has the goods.

Sorry if I'm throwing the thread off in a tangent (and I don't mean to) but I've always wondered, what's the idea behind catnip? why do cats like it so much?

Catnip AKA kittycannabis...

 

only 50% of cats have the receptor which inables them to enjoy the high they get from smelling/eating/etc catnip.

 

Eaten fresh, catnip is a digestive aide (for cats) when dried...let the party begin.

 

2/3 of my cats love catnip, I place their fur toy in a baggy of catnip for a few min, give it to a cat and watch her roll, flip, bounce off the walls, make funny noises, then fall asleep.

 

Mostly crappy catnip to be found here in Brissy, mostly stems...catnip should be buds (tiny ones) and greenish....
