clone stems going purple

Recommended Posts

I was using humidity cover but not in last few days, they are big clones and the guy who gave them to me said they don't need a huidity crib so haven't been using one, other than the cold I prolly wouldn't have a problem.

Just turned on hps, 3 ft is as far away as I can get it from the babies at the moment ( tis a heavy light in an awkward spot and I'm not very strong :peace: )

see pic for how they are atm with hps on, the light is an all in one lowbay the plants are in the corner at the ballast end, heat just hit 25c Ill monitor temp for next 2 hours b4 turning on exhaust fan.

now the hps is on I see what you mean about the blue spectrum with the cfl , they just changed colour B)

Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated

See if your hydro shop will trade the reflector for a lighter one, growing is meant to be a pleasure not work, B) plus you don't want to risk dropping it on your plants. :P Painting the walls with flat white ceiling paint would also help with spectrum reflection and help seal them against the damp, mould loves that sort of surface too.

They act like mini greenhouses too, it's easier to heat a small area.
