    Closer

So getting closer to how i want it... Got 40psi 240v water pump that is getting a nice mist in both tubs. Lotta pressure so had to upgrade hose and use clamps on all joins but it was still bouncing and noisy as so I added another line with a tap and am bleeding some water back into the rezzy. Hanging it from bungee has also helped. Got cool tube working and nice turbo g fan that has temp controls and is reasonably quiet. Also have a 200mm exhaust and 150mm intake which so far have kept temps around 28 and with the intake directed at the rezzy it's keeping the water at 24 Just sweating on the short range timers i got coming so i can run the pump 30sec on and 240secs off, at the moment with only 15min on/off timer i'm getting slight leaks from the tub lids. Plants have been secondary whilst been settinup not to mention crazy busy but doing ok.

  9. The whole sordid affair is a terribly sad indictment of our society today on so so many levels. I'd like to blame the media but they are only selling what people want. And by me even posting in this thread i'm just as bad as them peace c

  11. Yea unnecessary RL, context and civility thanks. Let's move on. I tuck as much as possible before I pluck but as with most things it's always plant and situation dependant with motivation also factoring in. Having tried many spectrums from untouched to fully plucked I don't think it affects the plant or finished product as greatly as some people might think or expect. I might do the two extremes side by side somewhere in my next run and throw some pics up. peace c

    water temp

Yea in run to waste or recirc flood and drain systems you only really need to chill the water before your feed times so i don't doubt you managed it Haze especially with your set-up geared towards lowest ambient possible. Growing by feel is a uniquely cool feeling peace c

    water temp

Unfortunately stop gap measures are often counter-productive and this is a good example of how. Depending on ambient temps, rez placement etc you can very roughly and generously allow 2hrs for a 2L bottle to thaw meaning 5-6 changes at least during flower cycle and 8+ for veg. This makes it time consuming as it ties you to the grow during light cycle not to mention takes freezer space and a seemingly simple task such as refilling bottles to maintain an adequate ice supply becomes a p.i.t.a . If you do manage to stick to the schedule 95% of the time you firstly deserve a firm and measured congratulatory pat on the back and secondly a plausible bullshit story to explain why you have so much time on your hands The reality is using frozen bottles sporadically will just create flucations in your temps that will most likely cause new or compound existing problems for zero benefit. They would be useful to keep temps down for a short period while you repaired/replaced a faulty chiller. An effective way to chill your rezzy is duct from a/c if you are using it... You don't usually grow in summer? How cold is the water from your pipes? Peace c

Short answer is... Yes. peace c
  15. Could be mould too... Sometimes it has a web like appearance. Are your leaves dotted yellow or pale? Check the undersides of the leaves to confirm mites. peace c
