  1. hi BBB - It's good that you raised the light - the first photo appears to be of the top canopy closest to the light. It dose show 'burn'. Then photo #2 seems of lower under canopy. Your plant appears a little greener than green so possibly over fertilizing a possibility - if you have other plants - took to them for clues as to what it may be of your choices but its unlikely that the lower under canopy got burnt from your light. A suggestion is now that you have taken care of the light height issue is to stretch the watering schedule out & less is better- good luck!
  2. Trial & error = learning about your plant. missing a cycle is a bump & no catastrophe - Sex of a plant is generically fixed - plants turn 'Hermie ' when stressed or, through genetic inheritance Grow well !
  3. yes water when dry - stick your thumb/finger in the soil & after a while our sensitive fingertips will know - just looking not enough - Grow well !

  5. HI HB420 - u keep at it - there's no better education than learning from small errors, crorrecting them, moving on and doing it over amd over - it's like life ! Your grow looks fine - maybee a little more light (location) - but that you may have no control over ! Get yourself a 30x Magnification glass from the $2 shop - you will see and learn amazing things including insect pests like the 'borg' (aka 'Spidermites'). Grow well HB420 Nitty.
  6. Agree a bad case of nutrient "lock out" ... a decent flush then wait .... you will loose some leaves, well things will get worse before they get better so try to remember that when you seem to feel they are "out cold"........ I would not feed until I saw the massive sheding of leaves all the toxified leaves committ "Hurry Curry" then the new groth appearing. A balance of the right Ph and just a bit of water is what those plants want most. Grow well Grasshopper Nitty.
  7. The best advice is that you don't need nutrients for germination - you don't need any for the first week or so - a bean (seed) pod contains enough nutes to get roots established so it can drink it's food. Rain water, or tap water left standing for 24 hrs then PH adjusted - then use 3/4 strength and rising every week or 2 to full streangth. use a "coco specific" nutrient mix...... you can get cheaper and better Coco specific nutes - avoid House & Garden & try "nutiefield Coco" Grow well Nitty.
  8. Hi - I looked at your ebay links and the goods. You have had some feedback on the tent and the light kit will suffice. A word on the light kit - what is your intention in terms of a full grow v's an early gernination/veg chamber. The kit suit's an all stage (full grow - seed to smoke) but the tent a little small however 'do-able' subject to yield loss due to size of the plants being restricted. That tent is pretty "low-quality" and as others say it is worth your time and saves effort if you buy the quality lines in gear (meters, nutes - with the exception of overpriced Canna products - ballasts, globes, fans & filters). I have a 2nd hand "indoor elements" tent I am selling as a complete kitg including twin blue 18" Fluro's, clone chamber. I don't really wish to separate and want to sell everythin at once as a kit. It's good for clones or set up for a veg period or for a 'Mother' (keeper). Here is the link if you want to check it out. https://cannabis.community.forums.ozstoners.com/topic/60453-nittys-selling-up/page-2 cheers & grow well Nitty.

    RIPPED OFF

aye get over it you should do them deliveries jc ....... remmeber your bad back - they will carry it for you. I found the 'Nutrifield Coco' ideal - gets delivered by srangers which is ok unless you live in a mocro-community with one pub. Nitty,
  10. stay on topic - don't get distracted - the question is about nutients Your fist link is to :- CANNA FLORES & VEGA A&B 4X1 LITRE HYDROPONICS NUTRIENT - canna nutes are more ecxpensive and you don't wantg hydroponic you want and need "coco" specific nutrients. Theey are made for that "medium" Your second link is to :- GENERAL HYDROPONICS FLORA SERIES 946ML - the Flore means Flower which is the secont 'stage of your full grow. These are not good together and I don't recommend either of these. I won't run your selection down without providing you with a little basics info about growing and nutrients. 1) there are two stages in a life of a mj plant "Veg" (18/6 refering to minimal light period for the stages) and "Flower" (12/12 meaning 12 hrs of complete dartkness and 12 hrs of light). 2) you need a 2 stage nutient VEG (Veg range) and flower (Flores range). Best to look at usual minimal 1 lt bottles x 2 for each of the trwso full grow cycle consisting of vegatative (18/6) and flower (12/12). Try the "House and Garden Coco range both Flores and Veg to cover a full range. If you lucky your local hardware has them at a good price or a decewn online hydro store like discount hyydroponics. "Nutrifield Coco" range is cool toooooo ! cheers Nitty.
  11. Hi saxman I'll through more into the mix - compost looks like it's depleted some/most of the nitrogen possibly through over-watering and now compacted medium leading to a lack of air to the root system. Potrocket has the gist of it ...... ...... ...... my suggestion would be pot-up/re-pot then good doses of a high organic fert's like "fish emulsion" (cheap & never nasty + high nitrogen). Nitty.
  12. Aye bananas are high in potassium - good if your short of PK-13 during fruiting (flowering). The are slow to 'bio-de-grade', smell & BRING THE SMALL BLACK FRUIT FLYS. Nitty.
  13. I think the 'plasticity' and the complexity of the brain leads reductionist chasing an 'imperialist' (scientific) paradigm when the sum of the whole is greater than the parts. Nitty.
  14. Nothing beats some time with your plants picking those buggers off jabu .................. takes less time after a few to be the best cati-spot-ter'. you will know when the leaf has moved. Nitty.
