This is my growing guide for Autoflowering Plants in Coco. Let's start with Coco shall we. NEVER use anything other than Buffered Coco. That shit at Bunning's will kill your plants. I have used several different Buffered Coco's in the past and the Canna or Nutrifield stuff is the pick. It's darker & finer than the others. Any pre buffered & washed Coco is fine. I have gone back to Canna Coco. Because of the cellular structure of Coco you must use Coco specific nutrients of get the best results. To be honest I have never used anything other than Canna Nutrients & Supplemements with the exception of substituting Rhizotonic with Seasol. I did simple testing and…

I did not find this on the internet anywhere except for being on wikihow cuz i submitted it there. This method I've been using for years, its the best way to keep your bong clean. What you need: Milk A steady hand #1 Okay first you want to get all the resin off the inside of your bong, For that you need Bottle brush hot water from the tap washing powder You will need to fill your bong with hot water & about a tablespoon of washing power. Now push you bottle brush down the mouthpiece/tube thing( you can take the bace of your bong off to get to the hard to reach places) just make sure you scrub of all the resin from the inside of the bong and the outside/in…

So I gave this to a mate recently - and figured I should also report it here - Big props to Buzzo and his Auto guide!! I used his guide as a base for my own feeding cycle and with out his guide I probly wouldn't have started so well. As such I have reused much of his post to drill in his points as I believe they are very valid. From this with good strains that will give you the type of flowers you want - in general - will come out great following this feeding. of course everyone has their own way - but my plants have come out great using this guide. This is my growing guide for growing Plants in Coco. Let's start with Coco shall we. NEVER use anything other …

Easy guide to using your PH meter first of all the importance of the right ph is paramount IMO it will dictate your plants nutriant intake... I have used some info i found from a member of another site..cheers carpal tunnel..as he explains it well "The pH scale, from 1 to 14 measures acid-to-alkaline balance, 1 is the most acidic, 7 is neutral, and 14 most alkeline. Every full point change in pH signifies a ten-fold increase or decrease in acidity or alkelinity. For example, soil or water with a pH of 5 is 10 times more acidic than water or soil with a pH of 6. Water with a pH of 5 is one hundred times more acidic than a water with pH of 7. With a ten-fold differenc…

A common problem indoor growers face is timers failing The reason they fail is due to the highly Inductive current load (from HID and fluorescent lighting as well as fan motors) literally burning and ruining the metal contacts as they are opened and closed. The cheap timers claim they can switch 10 amps, but this can be misleading. The maximum current for the type of load we want to switch(highly Inductive) is usually much lower again, sometimes as low as 2 amps, which does not even give us enough for a 400w on start -up. A way around this problem is to use the timer to power the coil of a contactor. Hagar 25amp, single phase contactor The contactor above has pu…

I have been experimenting with bricked coco and perlite mixes for the last 5 years and found it doesn't neccessarily have to be a disaster, frankly, it's been quite the opposite. The following is the method I use to rehydrate and prepare Brunnings brand, prefertilised, 9L coco bricks. I've found that this variety of brick to be of reasonable consistency and (apart from a little sand) free of contaminants (eg no bits of wire, plastic, stones etc). You will need... all necessary items can be purchased at Bunnings (excluding the ec meter). 2 x 9L buckets 1 x 45L bucket (or other large container) 1 x large plastic tray (or other container to hold the washed coco) 1 x wi…

CLONING FOR COCO - 101. Hey Im Grasshopper72, here's a real simple tute for a simple way to clone that gives me 100% success rate and nice health clones in 5-7 days. It requires no Jiffy Pots, Coco pots, seedling mix....straight into Coco. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to Clone, it's easy if you set up well and work quickly and cleanly. Lets get into it eh? First a couple of things you will need to get started, most of this stuff besides the Coco, (buy premium at a Hydro store $40-45/50L) , you can get from Bunnings. (Lets just say, for this example we are doing 4 clones , so materials list is matching this number) The Plants I am Using for this Tute ar…

What do we use it for? You can drink the stuff if you want, but we want it to force the female Plant to produce Pollen which can then be used on other female plants, and then the Seeds collected will be 99% female 1% male ratio, give or take. What is Colloidal Silver Colloidal Silver is simply silver ions and microscopic silver particles produced by electrolysis and suspended in distilled water How is it made? Modern Colloidal Silver is made by the process of electrolysis. Basically, electricity is applied to 2 silver wires that are suspended in pure water. The electrical current causes silver ions and microscopic silver particles to be released into the water where …
